3 TBS butter 1.5 TBS flour 1 CUP heavy cream 1/2 TSP chopped garlic 0.5 CUP white wine (well, 0.25-0.5) 8 OZ shredded Romano Cheese 1/2 TSP fresh ground pepper 8 OZ cooked shrimp meat
Do everything SLOWLY!
Melt butter in saucepan over low to medium heat
After butter completely melted, stir in flour
Stir in cream
Add chopped garlic, some (about half) of the pepper
Stir continuously and allow to heat up to near simmer
Stir in half the cheese and half the wine
Allow to heat to near boil -- DO NOT BOIL
Stir in shrimp
Stir in remaining cheese, wine, and pepper
Heat to near simmer (do not allow to boil) for about 15 minutes.
Serve
